Showing the Family around San Francisco

12/01/2014

On day two of their visit we went to San Francisco to explore. Allen didn't have to work that day so he got to help play tour guide with me, I was excited about that :)

Stop 1: Twin Peaks

We thought this would be a perfect first stop. It has such great views of the city. It was WINDY though so we didn't stay long.

Stop 2: Painted Ladies

I love the painted ladies, its such an iconic San Francisco landmark. And who doesn't love full house!?!

Stop 3: Lombard Street

This is one of my favorite stops in San Francisco, I love admiring the twisty street and the beautiful houses that line it. I always feel bad for the people who live there that have to deal with so many people driving on their street, maybe they are used to it!

Stop 4: Alcatraz Tour

This was my little brothers favorite stop of the whole trip! Alcatraz has so much history, we loved walking around and listening to the audio tour.

Stop 5: Ghirardelli Square

Sea Salt Caramel Hot Chocolate.. Heaven in a cup!

Stop 6: Sunset at Golden Gate Bridge

Stop 7: Palace of Fine Arts

Stop 8: Fishermans Wharf

Fisherman's wharf is such a huge tourist area in San Francisco, but its so much fun! We watched the sea lions, shopped around, admired the HUGE Christmas tree, and ate dinner at Bubba Gumps (yum!)

I can't believe how much sightseeing we packed in to one day, it was a blast and i'm so excited my family got to see so much of San Francisco!
