Vegas Baby!

Last weekend we headed out to Vegas to meet my family!

On our way there we decided to take the scenic route through Death Valley, which entailed 4 hours of 114 degree heat, constantly checking the gas tank and the temperature of the car, and miles and miles of being absolutely the only person on the road. It was so beautiful though, any chance we get we try and take the scenic route.. 9 out of 10 times its worth the extra driving time.

Each morning we headed out to the pool to soak up some sunshine.

Of course a trip to the pool isn't complete without taking some fun go pro pictures!

Our last morning we headed to the Hash House for breakfast. This place knows how to do breakfast! The serving sizes are HUGE, like pancakes double the size of my head huge! Luckily my friends warned me about this place before we went so we knew what to expect.

I am a huge food network buff so I was dying to try one of the TV star's restaurants in Vegas! We chose Guy Fieri's Vegas Kitchen & Bar. Apparently the trend in Vegas is crazy huge portion sizes so we split a burger and an appetizer, It was really really good! Close call between this and Hash House for my favorite meal in Vegas.

We had so much fun going to Fat Tuesdays everyday to grab some refreshing frozen drinks! My favorite was the Hurricane.

One of the nights we headed to Fremont street. Perfect place for people watching, anything goes in Vegas!

My grandpa, my aunt, Allen and I all decided to try zip lining. This was definitely one of my favorite things we did on the trip. Seeing all the neon lights, crazy people and casinos while your flying from a zip line was so cool!

We only had two full days to explore Vegas but I feel like we got to see so much! We had such a blast spending time with my family and exploring all that Vegas has to offer.
