We had zero plans this weekend and it was so nice! That almost never happens, our calendar is normally jam packed with weekend getaways, festivals, or hiking trips. Friday night we just relaxed around the pool, grilled out and watched the movie "joe"
Saturday we both worked all day and were staaaarving by the time we got done so we headed to the Poor House Bistro in San Jose. This place was amazing! Its in an adorable old house with a huge patio that they play live music on every night.
We got the sausage/cheese stuffed french bread for an appetizer, it came with a side of creole mustard for dipping, it was uhhhhhmazing! Then for my main meal I ordered a beef dip sandwich and we shared potato salad and cajun fries. Next time i'll just skip the sandwich and order the cajun fries and sausage bread for my meal. We heard that they have really good bread pudding so I need to save more room for dessert next time :)
I'm so thankful to have a fiancé that loves snapping shots of all of our fun adventures, I on the other hand am always distracted.. and if its food then theres no way its getting photographed before I'm stuffing my face, so embarassing!
Sunday we met one of Allen's friends at Aqui in Campbell for brunch and then we shopped around the farmers market for a bit.
After we finished at brunch we all came back to our apartment, lounged by the pool all day and played volleyball. We ordered our usual Coliseum stromboli and garlic knots for dinner.
Poor Charlie can't handle all of the weekend excitement.
